We took the guided tour that included the visit to the Royal Opera and it was really worth it. This is not to be missed even if you don't love opera. The detailed in the wooden panels that cover the wall was impressive, as the...More

The room was very nice, on the day we went you could just peek inside. It was quite busy. We did not purchase the audio tour, but those who did blocked the entrance- actually they pushed ahead..annoying

I did not really saw the opera as this was the part of the tour, but I did hear the rehearsal. The acoustics were amazing, and the opera itself a piece of beauty.

The Royal Opera is so beautifully done that it is to be seen to believe. Not sure if it is very popular amongst tourists but surely it is a marvel of beauty and design. It was a high point of my trip

The opera is as opulent as the rest of the chateau. We attended an opera concert at the concert hall and it was mesmerizing. A truly memorable event.

The grandeur and opulence of the architecture and design is impressive. Paintings (including ceilings) and sculptures by masters of the period - like a visit to a gallery and museum in one. Recommend use of audio guide during tour.

Yes the French dress smart to go out. I would suggest black pants and a dress shirt for a man, a little black dress or similar for the ladies. Some places have dress codes. We watched Lido, and folks were dressed button... More
