A lovely basilica with a beautiful wet acoustic. Catch a concert if you can. The stained glass is fantastic when we'll lit.

The stained glass is old and wonderfully lit when the sun is out. We looked all around and I found a tomb slab that looks to be a Templar relic. I attached the pic so you can see it. If you have any info on it please contact me. I recommend this site because it's free and there is a... More

Carcassonne it's the place where Robin Hood was filmed, it's a lovely town. If you are there you must see this church because it's free, it has spectacular stained glass and it's a beautiful gothic church

Well worth taking the time to call in here for the stained glass windows alone. Stunning architecture and look out for the gargoyles on the outside.

Visited here three times now over a six year period. It never fails to impress and inspire from the stained glass to the recumbent translucent bishop. Dating form the X1 century, form before the first Crusade and Knights Templar. Look for a magical owl in a recess.

Within the walls of the medieval Cite of Carcassonne is a charming little Gothic Cathedral which is well worth spending a wee while perusing and admiring the beautiful glass windows. Best of all it is absolutely free.

Incredible and stunning with the glass work and stonework. A must see in Carcassonne. There is no entrance fee.
