Almost immediately it disappears up a narrow road you think it wouldn't go up and then it does a sharp turn you think it wouldn't do. Then it goes everywhere you wouldn't expect. This is a bit of a spoiler but this train is different and worth the eight euros. It stops for a couple of minutes at the fort.... More

We took a round trip from Collioure to Port-Vendres. We parked the car at the SNCF railway station and walked back down the hill to Place du 8 Mai 1945. Note there are toilets in this Place. Any push chairs wheelchairs etc are secured to the kiosk. There is also a step available for those who may need it. The... More

This tourist train leaves the town centre and ascends into the hills above the town giving fantastic views of the Pyrennees and the coast. The train stops at the highest point for photo shots. The trip one way lasts about an hour and is well worth it. My big complaint was that I could not hear the English audio at... More

This is a great way to see some stunning views of the area. We would see the train (really a decorated truck) go past our villa so thought we would give it a go. It winds its way through the town and up to the top of a mountain bedecked with an old fort, then back through Port Vendres and... More

Wonderful way to see the great views of Collioure and a unique way to experience an overall view of the area. The train ran on time and very affordable.

Took the train with my brother and parents (all adults) at 4.30pm as the 4pm train was full. A lovely time of day to go, not too hot. Train makes its way up the hill through lots of vineyards to a stunning view over Collioure next to the fort. Down through the port and back into Collioure. Worth the ride... More

We, a group of four adults and a two year old, took the train not knowing quite what to expect but we were all pleasantly surprised. It worked very well for our two year old as getting on a cute little train is of course very exciting! (((Choo Choo!))) and it also worked well for the adults as it provided... More

It's informative, but that's not really why we did it. It was fun and at 5 euro a ticket it was not expensive at all. We had brilliant views, went up through vineyards, kids thought it was great too!

We took the train because we thought that it would give us more info about this lovely town. We bought our tickets and were told that there was an audio that could be selected in 8 different languages. However, right after starting the tour we realized that the Spanish, Catalan, Italian and Russian audios did not work, which was actually... More
