It's definitely worth a walk through the old town to go round the outside of this old building. Unfortunately it is closed until 2018.

The cathedral looked very impressive from the outside - particularly the portal - but there is a slight problem as it is closed for building works until next January. A pity!
It is just to notice that this marvelous building (the front porch is something singular) is entered in a big restoration last month with an opening next spring 2018. For the time being we can only stop to admire the outside of it.
Cool Cathedrale, multiple entrances possible, you just have to find them. Just walk around. This is not the only cool place in MPL old town so forget tram and walk :)

the cathedrale is annexed to the University of Medecine of Montpellier from the 13th century . the cathedrale is located in the old town : and you go sight seeing in the old town with many shops .
Most of Monpellier's history is visible both in walking through it's old streets or visiting it's attractions. All are worth a visit.
A cute spot. There are always lots of people taking pictures as it seems to be one of few cathedral type buildings in Montpellier
