This cathedral in the old historic part of Montpellier is truely monstrous. Large, bland and imposing from the outside. Absolutely huge vaulted ceiling inside. Oppressive religous momument. Quite impressive stained glass windows, but very gloomy. One can not, unfortunately, go up the bell towers.

This is an unbelievable piece of architecture!. On one side is a couple of bars and restaurants, ideal for sitting an soaking up its beauty, on the other side is a wonderful park.

This is a pretty big and beautiful church and the area around it is nice, close to the botanical garden and the Peyrou.

I walked by this cathedrale by chance so I was not disappointed it was closed. It is worth a short walking detour but I wouldn't drive across France to see it

The cathedral offers impressive if somewhat unusual sight from the outside. Disappointing that the internal was not open to the public unlike most churches and cathedrals.

The further you walk round the back the ,ess attractive it is. Some awful sculpture. Once you get inside it's not good. Less interesting the further into in you get It's a bit dark and the stained glass windows are pretty standard. Th
