It is a hard one. The zoo is free even though we paid to visit the Amazon exhibit. But the toilets were terrible and the signs were a bit random. Some great enclosures however. It is a big piece of land and has lots of...More

I've visited Parc Zoologique three times, and every time I have found something new to see. The zoo area itself is pretty big, so you can easily get lost and surely get lost for the first time. When we were wandering around, we also discovered...More

We visited the zoo based on the TripAdvisor reviews. It has loads of space, is free and has some excellent animals. But it’s very poorly signposted inside, lacks facilities such as coffee shops, restaurants etc and was lacking animals you find in most zoos such...More

An exceptional zoo in a most unexpected place. A wide array of wild animals in very good condition in a very natural environment. Extensive grounds, allowing you to walk through at your leisure and enjoy the environment. Best of all, to see the major attractions,...More

This was an entirely unexpected bonus for me in Montpellier. This small zoo is a gem, and while it doesn’t have a vast collection, what it does have makes for an enjoyable outing. Recommended!

Ok so this zoo has major potential. The entrance & parking are free, grounds are extensive, the playground is very nice, paid portion is worth it, animals we could see were very cool. It lacked a lot though. Toilets were even by free europe standards...More

The park is beautiful. The gronds are kept sufficiently "wild" so you are on a "safari" through the zoo. The animals are well cared for. You can see they are happy and well fed and cared for. I have never seen it "full" as the...More

I have no idea how this is free but really nice zoo. It is unlike any I have been to before. The enclosures are very sympathetic to the animals, limited viewing points and unobtrusive. Sure to this there can be pretty long walks between enclosures,...More

What a cracking little place this was. And free. Yes, some of the paths are fairly rough and steep and not completely buggy or wheelchair friendly; Yes, there are occasionally large sections of park/woods areas without any animals; and yes if the sun is scorching...More
