Really impressive & well maintained castle overlooking Perpignan, that is a bit of an uphill walk, but well worth the effort. Lots of events held here, particularly in the Summer months

A huge landmark towering above the city. It is so impressive from both the outside and onsite. You should spend at least 1h cost €4 per person.

Worth a visit, one can learn a little of the history of the region. Well renovated castle, it was a pity we could not see the water reservoirs.

The visit is surprisingly pleasant. Do NOT hesitate to take the guided tour which enable to discover the history of the castle as well as how it has been built. Plan more than one hour but it really worth it.

there is parking but access to the palace is up a steep climb and the access is cobbled so may be difficult to access if using a chair or with mobility problems
