Had a great opportunity to be there, it was a awesome Place with Peace in mind, and of course ancient architecture is really a master piece.

Not on my 'hit list' of French Cathedrals to visit - but one I needed to cross off the list ! - The west end, well it doesn't really have one - is very disappointing, especially when you compare it to Reims, Amiens. Tours. The...More

.. of anybody's visit to Limoges. Centre of what might be called a Cathedral Quarter, it is a stunning example of French gothic churches. More to it, there are great gardens next to it, with superb views of the river below. Not to be missed.

Impressive to see. Check the beautiful glass-windows in the back. Was good to be almost alone in this big cathedrale.

Not only is this a lovely cathedral, but it has a fabulous garden area laid out behind it. Lots of trees and plants, lovely smells and colours. A little wet in places, but certainly worth visiting for this two-in-one sight

Beautiful cathedral in a charming very old part of Limoges. Take your time wandering around then go and sit in the sunshine outside one of the numerous bars or restaurants nearby....a glass of wine and people watching?

Spent about 45 minutes looking around the cathedral, lovely stained glass windows and a beautiful building. The organ was being played during our visit and sounded marvelous

We didn't come to the cathedral with visiting in mind at all. We had been doing the river walk and saw the gardens and decided to explore them. The steps led us naturally to it and as it started to rain we went in to...More
