Lovely medieval episcopal residence. The Toulouse Lautrec collection is extensive and amazing but the building it is housed in is also incredible. Right next to the Cathedral so not to be missed. Closes at noon.

We hummed and hawed about paying the 9 Eurostar to get in but am glad we went. The museum gave a good history to the development of Tolouse lautrec's art. Well laid out and small amounts of information available. An audio set was another 4 euros.

An outstanding museum in a lovely historic building. The exhibits well planned and give you overview of the painter's life and how his work changed over time. This might the one of the cheapest museum in EU. Very well done! I hope I get to see this museum again.

Outstanding display of Toulouse-Lautrec art. Modestly priced, easily accessible, audio guides available, but they not necessary because each room had excellent written descriptions.

Wow. Is all I can say. The collection is huge, well displayed and informative. It shows the ages and techniques Henri Toulouse-Lautrec went through before he came famous with his classic Moulin Rouge poster type art. For €9 it's a bargain and the views as you walk around are incredible.

A nice collection of Lautrec. The museum description boasts of a grand collection, which I would say is exaggerated. Most of the later works include posters and drawings, which is fitting because Lautrec was a consummate draughtsman. There are some very nice paintings done late in his career, but many of the earlier works do not show the mastery of... More

Albi is a really pretty medieval town, easily accessible from Toulouse by train, and the Toulouse-Lautrec museum is very much worth a visit. It's housed in the beautiful old bishops' palace, next to the famous, must visit cathedral. The collection of the artist's work is really interesting, from his early works as a boy on the country estate, to the... More

be prepared to spend a good few hours as there are lots of exhibits to see. Very informative with information in several languages. Both the building and the exhibits were well worth seeing.

Apart from the atmospheric building there were lots of art works to see. Quiet and spacious. I would highly recommend it.

Besides loving his work, you can admire the inside of the palace where the museum is located. Totally worth a visit!
