Come to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes to experience a spiritual renewal and inner reconciliation. Do not mind the external noises around like the many souvenir shops and thousands of pilgrims. Visit the Grotto of Apparation and pray. Light a candle. Join the...More

All you expect from Lourde is in the Sanctuary and you won't be disappointed. Not really for people who look for peace and quiet but definitely for people who want to share there faith.

We had a day to see all places in Paris. We took the hop-on-off bus to see around, Lourdes on agenda. None of the guides could help us see it! :(

The Sanctuary really is the most stunning and inspiring place for pilgrims from all corners of the world. All signs of commerce cease the minute you walk through the gates. It was very noticeable that security has been strengthened markedly with bag checks etc.

The quickest way is just fly to Lourdes While driving I noticed is quite close to the actual place. Once there you can walk at your own pace and enjoy.

I took the fast train from Paris to Lourdes, which was six hours. The train ends right in Lourdes and then I took a taxi (only 5 euros).
