It took me a few minutes to realize that those are not actually all bricks inside, but trompe d'oreille. The whole thing is painted inside, which I found amusing. Not sure if it was worth paying to see the cloisters - I saw a lot of cloisters for free in France. But it is good to support the maintenance of... More

A 13th century building of European historical importance with Romanesque brick architecture, a massive high nave with huge palm tree columns and wonderful, long stained glass windows. It marks the start of the Dominican monastic order which fought against the Cathar heresy. After the French revolution it was used as a barracks and stables, then a site of crafts and... More

Discovered this while having a walk in the center - impressive bell tower & large red-brick construction. We were just passing by in a hurry, so just had a tour and took some pictures - didn't have the time to enter inside - but I saw some pics later on and next time I plan to allocate enough time to... Beautiful church less than 5 minutes walk from Place du Capitole. Free entrance to the main building as most of the churches in Toulouse but by far the best in my opinion. A lot of history and things to see. There is a garden & chapel (4€) to see as well. English, French and Spanish translation was a plus. Recommended!!!

Great architecture, worth a visit and a few photo's. The Church is close to a market, which is very large over a few streets,

We took our two kids, ages 8 and 10 to visit La Gallerie. On display was "The Garden of Whispers" which was amazing to experience. The kids were only mildly interested, but it was a unique and interesting display. The Gallerie was filled with sand and had a path that showed you through the exhibit. There were voices coming out... More

My first impression as I walked into the church was wonderment. I was in awe of the huge high ceilings and the beautiful stained glass. All I could do is stare upwards. It was a sunny day and the sunshine illuminating the stained glass was breathtakingly beautiful. The gardens are peaceful and serene lending to a calming, tranquil walk in... More

We did not pay the fee to see all parts of this church. Even so, we found the open areas of the church, especially the ceiling, very impressive.
