Treasures all over, hidden gems, bric a brace, posters, postcards, glasses, tea sets, books and magazines .... in the fantastic courtyard with gorgeous architecture.

The courtyard area is packed full of second-hand bookseller’s tables stacked high with old newspaper clippings and novels. The actual building is found at the Grand Place, Lille city centre and is highly impressive and only a stone’s throw from the Column of the Goddess...More

Typical for this city very nice building with big free space in it, where people sell books and newspapers. Make mood of city

Great architecture with a mini ice-rink with glittering lights making it a festive treat. The rink was surrounded with little local stalls selling food, clothing and other knick knacks

What a delight to find the old Bourse filled with stalls containing used books, old periodicals, antique prints and vintage toys.

It's everything the guide books say: Fantastic features, ancient books, maps and posters. Correct right down to the chess players.

The Vielle Bourse is a very interesting-looking building from the outside. However when we visited it was not possible to see the 24 houses set around the interior courtyard as the inside of the building was closed for restoration.

We were walking in Lille and saw this old building and enjoyed the ice skating arena and as well as book stores, recommending to go.

One of the nicest buildings in town. Well worth a walk around and through the courtyard to admire the architecture and the way the structure has been so well maintained.
