A busy beach in the height of summer, clean and well supervised. Toilets available for a charge. Next door beach at deauville has a more gentle slope and less crowded so prefer that one.

The ‘Plage de Trouville’ is a very nice beach, but the sand is “shelly” in parts. There’s a lifeguard on duty when we visited at the beginning of August on a weekday. It is clean and litter-free. There are boardwalks running parallel to the seafront...More

Unlike Deauville, the beach at Trouville is untouched by cars and parking lots and the magnificent historic houses and their gardens are displayed directly at the sandy beach...no roads divide the sand from the Belle Epoque villas and it sports the reputation as the 'other...More

More popular and happier than neighbour Deauville which is more for the better-endowed and more snobbish. The beach is not as nice, but the food choices are better here. Go to the quay near the casino, and have lunch st one of the stalls. You...More

This is a great little town just before you enter Deauville. There is a traditional market along the river on Sunday and Wednesday leading down to the casino and the beach. Lots of restaurants and coffee bars on the other side to stop and watch...More

Ideal place for one long stroll at the beach. The smell of the sea is just wonderful! The old villa's at the beach are very beautiful.

Although Deauville is just across the other side of the harbour Trouville is far more authentic and enjoyable. Long wide open beaches, boardwalks and delightful cafes. This has excellent beaches, swimming and just the place for kite flying, walking or being. There is a reason...More

Ideal for a romantic stroll on a beach on a sunny (even cold) day. It's just so beautiful! The beach offers a view on Le Havre harbor and city on a clear day. It's refreshing, relaxing, re-invigorating <3 <3!

This is a great beach. It's long and you can do a lot of activities. But compared to Deauville it is not nearly as clean and as much maintained. I did not enjoy my time there as much as in Deauville.
