This is a charming and beautiful harbour, a stroll along the sides is worthwhile as is a drink at one of the restaurants to breathe in the atmosphere

A lovely and quaint area to wander around! It has a wonderful atmosphere with plenty of restaurants and cafes along the waters edge where you can sit and watch people stroll by and the boats bob away on the water. Although it was a busy,...More

A typical historical place of the Normandy, a must to visit and to stay to feel the atmosphere. If possible out of the seasons or when the mass of visiting daily tourists are gone in the evening.

We explored Honfleur and its colorful harbor, where the Seine River meets the Atlantic Ocean. It's a scenic location for strolling, shopping, and, enjoying time in an outdoor cafe.

Honfleur is based around the Bassin and with its vintage merry-go-round, cafes and other inviting shops and venues, you'll be pleasantly entertained.

Very pretty with lots of restaurants offering good views when sitting outside. Not the best place to eat though unless you are having a crepe/waffle or ice cream.

Upon arrival in Honfleur we got out for dinner. The Bassin was on walking distance. The place is flooded with restaurants. The whole scene is very romantic and the old houses are impressive. The visit was a nice close out of our holiday in France

It's a very nice place, with plenty of restaurants around le bassin and further up in town. Parking is straight forward enough in two large car parks on the dockside

Great views and great ambiance. For the most affordable food though, do NOT eat at any cafe along the vieux bassin. This is where you get the lowest quality for the highest dollar. But the views of the Vieux Bassin by day and by night...More

On the banks of the Seine near the commercial port. So a bit of a hike, but a 5 minute taxi ride.

Hi ! Every Saturday morning, near the Ste Catherine church, a market is held. There is also an organic market, on Wednesday mornings I believe. This will have to be confirmed by someone who still lives in town.

Hi Pat and Bob I can see no one replied to you and it was over a year ago now that you stopped in Honfleur. Perhaps you could answer your own question for me - I arrive on the 1 June. Any info would be very helpful... More
