Unfortunately I came here once it closed (at around 9am on Saturday). The building is quite normal to me. Nothing is special much (except the name is what I heard in a movie - maybe). Just pass by is okay, no need to stay for...More

Imagined that this would be a museum type experience but in fact it is now an escape room type experience. Therefore nothing to see but the outside and no historical information provided.

Remaining part of a once magnicent chateau where Joan of Arc was held captive before her trial and execution. Not greatly exciting other than for its historical connections and to to see the great height from which she jumped in an attempt to escape.

The tower of Joan of Arc is located uphill when walking from the central market square. Close to the train station, the tower cannot be missed. A panel in English and French explains the background stories about its construction.

interesting to visit...not much there...but it only takes a few minutes...so go for it. the adjoining castle is long gone.

It is one of the atraction you find as soon as you arrive from the station. I liked the Middle age style. Near to the town centre.

If you want, you can climb the tower and see a bit more of Roen. But if you don't do this you actually miss nothing.

This was the tower and dungeon where Joan of Arc was imprisoned and tortured. Although closed when we went it was worth the trek uphill to see it - there is a sign outside which explains the history.

This is the tower where Joan of Arc was held prior to he demise. With free entry, this is a must for families. Be warned there are numerous stairs to be climbed to the top. However there is a museum on the ground floor.

My husband was desperate to see in this tower but despite visiting three times when it should have been open it never was, so sadly we had to make do with viewing the exterior. Impressive machinations.
