Being Norwegian I am spoiled for great scenery and beautiful nature. However, the natural park of Redes was a surprise to me with its abundance of beautiful mountain scenery and great places to visit. Less known than the neighboring Picos de Europa National Park I found this to be equally worth a visit.

Beyond the walking trails and scenery, there is a lot to see and do. We visited a mining museum in Langreo, a woodworking museum and a cheese factory, and the food and drink in the Asturias region is also a great attraction. The local cider and the casin cheese are personal favorites.

I will certainly return to Redes.

We hiked for a few days in Parque de Redes. Absolutely beautiful, a true natural paradise as Asturias boasts. Great for people who love the outdoors and hiking!

Came across this park by accident. We were just driving around and came to the sign for the park. We drove through for miles and the scenery was marvelous. The road was a bit rough and we came upon cows and goats in the road. The best way to visit this area is by walking.

They destroyed the natural park with a lot of huge iron boxes scattered around the mountain, so that people could take selfies. Tourists want to take photos with nature behind them, not with a pile of junk. A shame to destroy the Asturian landscapes like this....
