We enjoyed Musee Jules Verne even though only about half of the exhibit has an English translation. There was a gentleman there who was very anxious for us to view his virtual reality film. We had a delightful time.

Jules Verne was born in Nantes. And many people worldwide have read his works. This is the place where to see what his life was.

Delighted to enjoy exhibits of photos and models that bring out Jules Verne's fabulous imagination and influence, even on the cinema!

It is exciting to walk where the father of science fiction spent his childhood and the literary scene of Nantes at this time was a fertile ground for the future literary star. This museum lends more understanding about how this prolific author's talent was nurtured...More

After walking up the steep hill, we were disappointed to find the museum closed for lunch -check times before you go. Set in a house on several levels, overlooking the river, there are many artefacts about the life of Jules Verne. If you are very...More
