I was lucky enough to participate in the Master Blender Tour at Maison Camus with some friends and fellow students at INSEEC in Bordeaux. We had a wonderful time and learned a lot. Sylvie was a fabulous guide, taking us through the beautiful visitor center, explaining the different classifications, the production of cognac, the blending process and the history of... More

We were a little late for the English tour but they were happy for us to join in which was appreciated and indeed the guide briefly went over things again. The tour was interesting and not in any way rushed and its always good to hear about how each cognac house has developed its USP. The tastings were generous-you can... More

A great way to introduce cognac! Wish we'd gone for the blending tour, we'd have got more out of it.

We have booked our visit to Camus house at touristic center, it costs min 8€ depends on the type of cognac you would like to taste. We took the cheapest one because planned to visit not only Camus :) was very interesting to walk through the history, see the barrels and hear the stories of a Camus family. Nice, recommended.

After reading the reviews, I decided we would take this excursion while on Viking Cruise. I had never had cognac, but felt, when in Rome, or rather in Cognac... it is a very expensive excursion through Viking, but I'm sure if we were Cognac lovers we would have loved it, and felt it was a good value. Certainly it was... More

We visited Camus as part of a tour from Viking Cruise lines. The total experience...how cognac is made, sampling, then making our own Cognac was absolutely amazing.

This was our first visit to a Cognac room, and we had a fun and informative visit with the Master Blender before making our own custom blends. We then got to visit the showroom and taste different types of gin. Would definitely recommend!

Really enjoyed our Camus tour and creating our own brand of cognac. The master blender was so informative and welcoming. We booked this on our Viking River cruise of the Bordeaux area rivers

Having visited many whisky distilleries in Scotland initially we were disappointed to find that this is a museum visit rather than a visit to the actual distillery. However it is exceptionally well done and very informative. We were extremely fortunate to have the Master Blenders experience as part of our visit and this was a real highlight. After blending our... More

Oh my goodness we had so much fun. The tour was very interesting and then afterwards, we were escorted back into the cellar to taste four different blends of XO. My husband decided what he liked and then blended his own. It was so different. Sylvie was our guide and she was so knowledgeable and and genuine. She insisted that... More
