We used to walk to the central market along this street, almost free of traffic, watching the passers by and shopkeepers doing their daily rounds.There are bookshops, arty music shops, restaurants, bakers shops, with a range of tempting places to stop and browse.
Apparently they knocked don some sub standard housing in the early '70's to reveal this charming little placette.
