This is a real surprise in the city and was not expected - which adds to the surprise. You are not in New York but this is a mini-me if the statue from America. Very good and well worth a trip to see.

These statues get around I can tell that much. Seen them all now I believe. Lovely spot and peaceful. Check it

We found it at night, and were surprised at how small it was. . . An owner with a dog was walking. The dog defecated, the owner never picked up after it.

Nothing much to see here. It resembles the famous one in New York apart from being much smaller and in a small square rather than on an island. You will see it if you stroll around this part of town, which is a pleasant enough...More

This square was used to execute prisoners. A famous general was executed here in early 19th century. His last word was liberté (freedom). So it became Freedom Square. Learn about the general.

Well worth a pass by or a coffee/meal in the restaurant on the square. Beautiful architecture and a pretty fabulous statue.
