If you are in the area you must go to Poitiers and you must visit this beautiful church. It is just amazing to go into a Romanesque church that is so well preserved. The internal paintwork on the columns is just fantastic.

This church has fantastic romanesque architecture and decoration - outside it is lovely but inside its really astounding. The walls and coloumns retain the original brightly coloured paintwork and frescos. There is also a light show every night in summer at 10.30pm.
