Our first stop as we pulled into Aix and what a warm welcome we received. Tessa is so sweet and a joy to be with. The four of us were joined by 2 other girls and after a glass of Rose we started to prepare our traditional Provencal meal. Tessa showed us how to make stuffed vegetables, sun dried tomato... More

What a wonderful day we had with Tessa and her husband! She was very quick and helpful in the mails, we set a date and sent the menu along with all needed details in advance. Our menu was: Sun dried tomatoes caviar, Ratatouille with lemon chicken, lavender crème Brûlée. We met in her Provencal house in country side, around 10... More

Our day with Tessa was amazing. A friend of ours is planning a Provence trip and I said, "You and your husband have to go to Aix if only just to cook with Tessa." This review is long overdue, but, my husband and I compare every other cooking class/experience to Tessa, and Tessa wins. She teaches history, passion for ingredients, and... More

I had a lovely time getting a private cooking lesson from Tessa. I had wanted to learn how to make some typically Provencal dishes and her suggestions were just right. She picked me up from my hotel, we went to the market to pick up the ingredients and then on to her house to prepare the feast. I felt like... More

Our day with Tessa was priceless. My wife who is a good cook did not want to go to a basic cooking class. We discovered Tessa on the web and my wife immediately settled on Tessa. We met at her house and then she drove us to a local market where she gave us a tour of the place and... More

Dan and I had a wonderful farmer's market experience and cooking class with Tessa today. Tessa was right on time meeting us at our apartment for the short walk to the market. Tessa's home in the Bouc Bel-Air village was delightful and homey. The recipes, Daube a la Provencale, Sundried Tomato Caviar and Lavender Creme Brûlée, were simple and easy... More

Tessa is absolutely delightful, and treated us to an unforgettable day of marketing, prepping, cooking and dining. She showed us around the markets and described the best types of produce to chose for different dishes. Her home, Villa Cirta, is very lovely with flowering bushes and herbs filling the grounds, where our highlight was the outdoor kitchen. She guided us... More

The class was great. The menu included an appetizer, salad, main course and yummy dessert. It turns out Tessa was out of the country when I had emailed her and had internet access issues. We were able to eventually book and attend Tessa's wonderful cooking class. We did not do the shopping tour. All was skillfully organized, menus typed for... More

We booked a cooking class with Tessa few months ago via emails. She was very responsive and always replied me with additional information. Me and my husband with 2 kids joined her full day class: Going to market, cheese tasting lunch at her house, cooking and having dinner at her garden. While touring in the market, she always went to... More
