For those who, like me, love Cézanne. Some of the reproductions are starting to fade. Despite that, it's worth the walk uphill.

Really enjoyable but difficult to find. Not well signposted, but a good morning trip to combine the Atelier de Cezanne with Les Lauves.

This site provides an excellent view of Cezanne's mountain as well as providing the visitor with the experience of viewing the sites Cezanne enjoyed. Parking is difficult. Worth the difficulty.

You have to walk 15 minutes uphill from Cézanne's atelier (another great place to visit) to reach Les Lauves, a place where Cézanne painted again and again his beloved Montagne Sainte-Victoire. Walking can be a little tough on a hot day (no shadows) but you...More

This is the area that made Cezanne swoon, where his love affair with the mountain in the foothills of Mont Saint Victoire, where he created his atelier and garden close by. We stand here seeing the same rooms drenched in morning light as he did,...More
