Because of the works going on at the Place de Prêcheurs, the markets have been moved. I should imagine that until the redesign of the square and other works are finished, the markets will move around a bit. All the markets are lovely (just about every day). The one on Saturday is huge with fresh fruit and vegetables, pasta, ready-to-eat... More

We took a short and affordable bus ride from Marseille to visit the markets here over a weekend, they were varied and beautiful. Wide range of products from local produce, to prepared foods, to local handicrafts. The streets were filled with people and yet it did not feel overly crowded because everyone was visiting stalls and perusing the merchandise. The... More

Great food stalls and a carousel for the kids. Especially recommend stall selling melted cheese sandwiches!

I guess all of them are pretty good. We meandered at one that we stumbled across and enjoyed it. We bought radishes, sausage, cheese and fabrics. Nice.

The week end food markets were great along the Cours Mirabeau and the circle. The merchandise markets left a lot to be desired. However the ar market R. G Saporta was well worth the walk

Great place to come and buy local goods. The fruits and vegetables were delicious. I bought many linen clothing, and sandals. I would definitely recommend going there to shop. Please remember it is not open everyday and cash only.

So many things to buy it's hard to decide! Olives, breads, wines, cheese the perfect picnic stop. You can also buy hats scarfs here too. The locals and stall owners were very friendly and offered us lots of tasters. Really nice place

Great place to browse and enjoy local food. We ended up buying salami and some other goodies there during the one-day trip from Marseille. Generally, a charming and serene town, far enough from the noise of large megapolicies.

There were many vendors. Many fruits, vegetables, breads, and lavender. I purchased a package of lavender soap, a bundle of lavender and some spices. Was a nice souvenir for myself and bought one for a gift too. I believe the markets change locations depending on the day of the week.

Fantastic market on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturdays. Great to wander around and beautiful local products for sale. Well worth making a point of going to the market. On Saturday there were more stall holders but you can easily spend a couple of hours wandering round this market, with plenty of small cafes around the edge and all within a few... More
