Other reviews tend to undervalue the experience provided by this Roman theatre. We were very fortunate to have the theatre exclusively to ourselves and it is well worth doing, especially as a part of the economical group ticket that Arles provides for up to 6...More

You might as well walk past this ruin, even though you can't get inside. Our tour guide brought this place to life, but without her it wouldn't have been very exciting.

Two couples touring Provence came to see the amphitheater and bought the combo tickets, which gave entry to this site. We saw remnants of columns and bases stacked around, sat in seating which remains, one danced on the current stage, imagined how it must have...More

Not one of the better Roman sites but worth a look if you are in the town. When we were there it was largely a play ground for a lot of kids but it's good that access to the site is not too restricted.

Only a few parts of this once grand structure remain. Much of the seating area still exists but not much else.

This really is worth a visit. You can see what it must have been like in the Romans time. While the stage wall is not there like it is in Orange, France it still makes fascinating history.

This was one of the lap stage of Arles. With a comfortable ticket we had access to all historical monuments. During my visit I thought to the opportunity to Have a concert inside the theater. Exciting. Also the monitor with a video of a perfect...More

Here’s another place you need to pay to enter but honestly, save your money. We saw so much from just walking around. Good to see so much preserved.
