This is the main street of historic Avignon within the wall,with the usual array of shops and eateries, with gare Avignon center(train station)at one end of the street and a pleather of restaurants at the other.

Nice, well maintained bouvelard (a little construction going on by the train station), but overall a main street for walking through the heart of town. Lots of restaurants, shops, supermarkets, cafes, etc.
You can actually walk this entire street with rolling luggage, (many people do it), from the train station, past the Post Office, past all kinds of shops and bakeries, to the main town square, and dead end at the Palais du Papes. It's not that...More
