If you love flea markets you will love this one. Loads of stuff every week, lots of stalls, great location under the plane trees. Took us 3 hours to get through it all.

Fantastic market a riot of colour, smell and sound. Beautiful fruit and veg. Spicy chicken to eat there and then. Lavender in abundance. Local pottery for sale. Buskers and lovely cafes to sit back and watch it all going on.

Friday is the day for the market. The main problem is finding a parking space, so best to arrive early. Free parking at Coulée Verte or La Roseraie. This is a market on a grand scale that takes over most of the centre of Carpentras....More

The streets of the market wander to and fro forever. It is easy to lose your way and your life savings as soooo much tempts you to buy. Plan for several hours and enjoy.
