Terrific little town, with small streets, a small castle and a tiny church. Breathtaking views of the Rivièra. A small parking lot outside the town (Gourdon is not car accesible) makes me wonder hoe the summer crowds fit.. make sure you arrive early in the morning I guess.

We made a stop in Gourdon during our full day tour to Grasse and Wine tasting. This was a fantastic tour to do.. we traveled with Liven Up; their tour guides are great, speak perfect English and will do anything to accommodate you. Getting to Gourdon you have to drive through the mountains and away from the beach, which is... More

With a nice view over the mountains all the way to the see. Very old small town with nice small shops. A good place to visit for a half a day trip. Also nice restaurants with magnificent view.

We stumble upon this beauty while driving around cote d'azure last summer. It is situated high up in the mountains of cote d'azure after we visited Grasse. It's a quaint village but it oozes with charm. Strolling around the said village transported us to the medieval era. The place is so dreamy and the view below was fantastic. The smell... More

We really enjoyed staying in this lovely and historic Bastide town with its beautiful church and hidden vennels and gardens (the zig zag alleys). Great views from the old castle site and worth a walk to the Notre dame de neige church. Nice little cafes and patisseries. We would advise not staying when they have a visiting exposition which can... More

We actually did a circuit of the cliffhanging villages Mougins through to Tourrettes Sur Loup via Opio, Bar Sur Loup and Gourdon. All fabulous, all with great views, all with great parking and all with toilets. The ascent into Gourdon is wonderful with plenty of photo opportunities and the village itself has restaurants, galleries and quite wonderous views. If you... More

Lovely views driving up to Gourdon. Even better ones when we got there. Lovely little village with small shops to look around, the local hand blown glass is colourful. A couple of restaurants and a nice icecream shop worth a visit. The cookie icecream was lovely.
