Walking away from the harbour and its view of Fort Carre where it was said that Napoleon was once imprisoned, through a part of the old walls and you quickly find yourself in Old Antibes. It's a very pleasant town for a stroll with its...More

We stayed here for 3 days. The old town is just gorgeous. The markets are very good as well. Food galore. The shopping is excellent, shoes, shirts bags, all at very good prices.

The old town of Antibes has a square which has a market on specific days. It is surrounded by cafes and small shops. The cobbled streets and narrow lanes give you a great feel of the classic french old towns. Once you go more inside...More

We are not much for shopping but the open air market in the old town part of the city was worth going to. We didn't buy anything but walking around and seeing what was available was great.

A lovely place to sit and watch the world go by. Small shops on the way to the market, and a flea market Saturday morning. Poissonclothes, hats, eating in the square. And a new bandstand!

Lots of narrow streets and interesting buildings - but busy with many tourist shops. Good views of harbour and castle from walk near sea. A map from the tourist office is useful in pointing out the historic places of interest.

Old Town is a great area with several shops and cafes. It's a lovely place to walk and spend the afternoon. It is easily seen in one day. Most of the cafes seems to be very similar.
