This one is kind of an odd ball. Worth the price of admission 😉 After looking at fine art in museums for weeks you sometimes just need a break. This one fills the bill

I've never heard about Raymond Peynet before visiting the place and yet found this small (French only) museum very interesting. Besides fascinating Peynet's works, there are also exhibitions by other French caricaturists and it makes the museum even more fun to visit.

This small museum is like visiting someone's house -pleasant and peaceful. His works are happy, colorful, innocent as if you were inside a children's book. Vintage Air France brochures were great too.

Well worth an hour and a few euros. The exhibition is small but quirky and wish my french was better to fully appreciate the pictures. However we laughed a lot and will go again.they had peynet and Christianson on display with gosscini next month.

We visited this smashing little museum on a rainy day in Antibes. Entrance was 3 euros each. We weren't sure what to expect, but it was predominantly an arty venue, with lots of pictures by Peynet displayed. There were also great caricatures of politicians by another artist, some WW1 posters/pictures and some Charlie Hebdo displays. A group of schoolchildren were sitting... More

We tried to visit this museum and realised when we walked in around 11.40am that it would be a quick visit as the opening hours were 10-12 then again in the afternoon. When we arrived a lady on reception indicated we should go to a small area on the right. There were a number of other officials in the museum,... More

Well displayed and the view from the windows is as wonderful as the art within. Lovely sculpture outside framed by the sea.

I love cartoons - so love the Peynet depiction of life via his pictures. It doesn't take long to get round the museum as it's quite small, but well place within the old square in Antibes (below the Poste). It's possible to buy postcards and posters etc.

Good collection of Peynet's work. Not a lot of explanation for English speaking audiences but one can argue that humor is beyond words.
