Only the grounds were open in February, but it was lovely to walk the grounds. The tables at the top of the grand staircase facing the dea were tempting - a great place for a sit, read or to contemplate the sea view and imagine what it might be like to own such a place.

Beautiful house and gardens views magnificent but sometimes not open when should be. Great walk along coast to group beach. Allow at least 90 minutes and have a nice drink on the beach at group.

In July and August the villa is supposed to be open Wednesday afternoons and second and fourth Saturdays. I think it's scheduled to be opened Tuesdays and Wednesdays the rest of the year. However, I've tried to visit 3 times over the past few years and each time it has been closed when it should have been open. The first... More

Nothing really to see in the empty house, rose garden very nice and a good woodland surrounding the villa, we did the lot in 30 minutes, there is a small cove with a pebbled beach just down from the villa, a nice little place for a swim ( watch out for jellyfish ).

First the good news: it was actually OPEN (currently Wednesdays and 1st/3rd Saturday of the month, 14.00-17.00); and it only costs 2 euros. So what is there to see? The ground floor of the villa is open, but the rooms are pretty bare with very little explanation and no room guides (although to be fair they wouldn't have much to... More

The rose garden is magnificent. Hardly a weed to be found and no black spot on the leaves. Huge care and attention. All roses in full bloom.

We have visited this house and park on many occasions over the past twenty years. It is one of the best sites on Cap d'Antibes and should be a major attraction. The house is a beautiful example of its kind but, as other reviewers have remarked, it is sadly neglected by staff, who have little or no interest in its... More

The place - the building and the view and nature are fabulous. You can imagine the time when artists and famous american ex-pats spend their golden summers in Riviera and in this villa. Would truelly hope that the Antibes county would work a little more for this place inherited from Mme Beaumont. Could be so much more with a little... More

Don't expect a National Trust experience. The house is virtually empty, there are no nice guides in each room eager to explain to you enthusiastically the history of the villa and the grounds are neglected. There is also no tea room, restaurant or an audioguide. Having said that, this is one of the view bell époque villas open to the... More

The staff here exists only in the physical sense. Don't expect even the slightest of direction regarding the property/history etc & if you can't read French, forget about it entirely. The grounds were cool to see, despite the lack of context beforehand. Usually would have done some research before, to understand what the significance of the property was besides the... More
