Well worth a visit.

Not the cheapest place to go to but very interesting and superbly presented. The audio guides are excellent. A genuine view into a different era.

Villa Kerylos is located beside the sea, hence the view is picturesque. What is more appealing is the design and finishings of its interior ranging from the floorings to the bathtubs and to the individual rooms. Worth the visit if you are in Beaulieu.

Worth the visit to see the remarkable villa built to capture a Greek villa. The former owners certainly didn't spare a penny on their gorgeous retreat

This villa is a very detailed representation of a well-to-do Greek home. Very very pretty - not what you see on National Geographic. The architecture and decoration seem well thought out except for the collection of Greek statues on the lower outside level. The inside though is intriguing and well-worth listening to every word on the tour guide phones. The... More

The Villa Kerylos is perfectly positioned in Beaulieu-sur-Mer enjoying great views towards Cap Ferat. Built in the 1900s employing classical Egyptian designs, it offers an interesting incite into the how wealthy Egyptians must have lived more than two thousand years ago.

Designed by a French archaeologist Theodore Reinach and built in early 1900's but inspired by Greek villas dating from 2nd century BC. Tables and chairs all taken from Greek design and the whole building just on the edge of the Mediterranean. All who have read 'Hare with Amber Eyes' will recognize the names Ephrussi and Reinach. Wonderful house that we... More

Although I'm not OK with this kind of historicism - building anew something which was (or someone thought was) looking/or uncovered and estimated as looking like this, I must admit that this villa caught me. The mosaics are great, you can say that the animals and gods/goddesses are real, the rooms follow the plan of a real Ancient Greek house... More

Reconstruction of ancient Greek villa. It is not clear to what extent reflect reality , but it is interesting to see. Relatively close to Villa & Jardins Ephrussi de Rothschild.

A wonderfull Belle Epoque Villa, so nice, for a film just ideal, and transporting me in the world of Ancient Greece, an other way of life; the villa has many rooms , one nicer as the other, an extraordinary decor, most famous greek statues, glory statues; the Villa is between Nice and Monaco (Côte d'Azur) about 10 km of Nice;...
