While it would probably be even nicer on a glorious summer's day, the Leger Museum is an impressive collection in a great spot with a well-designed building. It was *very* quiet when we visited, though. We got a little confused as one staircase was out of action, so we weren't able (or at least didn't work out how to) see... More

Fernand Leger was a contemporary of Picasso, Matisse, Magritte and Marcel Duchamp - yet he isn't as well-known as these artists. But his art is certainly up there with these big names. He made a huge contribution to modern art in the first half of the 20th century. The museum has paintings, sketches and ceramics as well as a biography... More

If you don't know the work of Fernard Leger, this is the place to discover it. A totally civilised museum in a beautiful setting which does all it can to show Leger's progression from post-impressionism through Cubism to tubism. Suggestions: buy the catalogue and take your time; suggested visit 1hr 45- 2hr. If you are coming from Nice, take the... More

Worth the effort just too see the building . If you use a bus from the station you get off at the stop Leger then you have a 5 mite walk to the gallery . The location is about 1.5 miles south of Biot . Whilst the collection is larger only modest selection is on show but done very well... More

You can't miss this building due to the fantastic murals on its walls and it is a collection not to be missed if you are a Fernand Léger enthusiast. The whole place is light, airy and the collection beautifully hung, again within the respective periods. There are many exhibits, kids areas (who can have a go at creating casts). The... More

The grounds of the Fernand Leger museum are spacious, so are the rooms inside, so his very large and bright art pieces get their own space and can be appreciated. It is quite an excellent collection and the staff is very proud of their museum. Yes you can take photographs as well. the lunch spot which is on the grounds... More

This was my 2nd visit; my husband's 1st. When people ask him what his favorite things was during our 2 weeks in France, he says this museum. We were traveling with another couple, who are good friends of ours. They enjoyed it as much as my husband. We were walking through the garden, after our visit in the museum, to... More

From your first glimpse of the giant works adorning the outer walls of the museum, you will see wonder after wonder. There is an amazing collection of sculptures, and an interactive touchy exhibit that lets you get into Leger's process. Don't miss it.

This amazing museum is located in a marvelous park, in a quiet and pleasant place. It's a museum to be enjoyed inside and outside. Inside, Fernand Léger's paintings and artworks are very nicely exposed in a way that admiring them turns out to be a comfortable and pleasant experience. There are lots of information about the artist's life and work.... More

Leger was not only an outstanding artist and innovator, but also a humane and caring citizen of France and the world.
