The location itself is very nice. You can see all around the city too. It's not expensive museum but you get to see some interesting items and collections from around the world. Arts, artifacts, sculptures, etc.
Of course do not expect to find le musée du Louvre. But this is an interesting museum well worth a couple of hours visit. Well organized displays of greco-roman artifacts and various ethnic collections. Their Pacific Ocean section has some beautiful pieces from the Marquises...More
Inside this old castle there's a museum that hardly ever changes its collection: interesting, but not stunning. You can also climb a tower that gives you a beautiful view of the bay, the city and its surroundings.
Located above Cannes, this museum in a former castle offers a variety of artifacts, everything from ancient Egypt to South Sea islands. If you had never been to a museum, this would be interesting, but overall the collection is to varied and minimal to be...More
The museum is in the chapel of the medieval castle "La Castre", located in the hilltop old city of Cannes. The museum is very nice and interesting, and the scenic views of the bay of Cannes from the terrace were fabulous.

Climbing all the stairs for the museum might very well be a waste of time. Entrance for adults (no discount) is 6 euro, which is a bit expensive for what you get. The museum is strange collection with no visible theme of different items and...More

Well preserved fort, you climb a little, do not be upset, it's worth. Up view of the entire city of Cannes is absolutely sublime. Suquet is very close to where you probably eat, so a ride that will not spoil. You enter through a gate...More
