Up the stairs from the quay Napoleon, to the plaza in front of the Basilica. A lovely walk and the views remain as you go. Beautiful architecture as all Basilicas normally have. It looks very special when all lit up at night.

This sight is located next to Chapelle des Penitents Blancs. As with Chapelle des Penitents Blancs the building itself is nice but the real treat is the view down onto the port from outside of it.

Walk up the narrow streets to this spectacular church and take in a magnificent panoramic view of this classic city on the French-Italian border, stroll thru the cobblestone streets and have a coffee or lunch.

Walk the narrow streets, or take the stairs from the beach side. Well worth seeing this magnificent place. Beware the building is closed from noon to three.

The graveyard just above was also great to see. The cathedral was closed when we got to the top. Strange! However the views on the way up and down were cool!

Special is that you have to climb from the sea to the church. Special is the beautiful panorama. Special inside, beside the beautiful interior is saint michel and not Jesus Christ at the altar. Special is also the chapel nearby of the white nonn. Also...More
