The building is lovely. A bell epoch dedicated market space. The outside stalls around the walls feature local stuff and are cheaper. Inside , the atmosphere is terrific but the goods on offer are top end and pricey. That said the wine shop and deli...More

Very pretty and picturesque marche' with both French and Italian vendors. Fresh produce, however quite expensive especially if compared to the covered market in Ventimiglia which is larger and cheaper. I recommend Socca, the typical French snack of the region, made of chickpeas and which...More

Like most places in France this place closed around lunchtime. We arrived as they were closing down. Quite a small market, Nice market is much more impressive. Good mix of food stuffs & flowers.

A small food market in a beautiful historical building, full of fresh products of the French Riviera: fruit and vegetables, cheese, meat and seafood. I bought every morning some fresh fruit here for a healthy snack during day.

The Marche des Halles is a wonderful building (renovated in the past year) that houses a spectacular assortment of fresh vegetables, meat, cheese, and seafood. There is always a good crowd inside purchasing their fresh products. Most of the vendors speak English, Italian, and French....More

On Friday mornings in the summer there is a flea market/antique market across from the Marche. You can haggle or not. Bon chance! Lots of fabulous silver, funky jewellery and china in addition to furniture, books and some records. Lots of fun!
