The Promenade is central to Nice so go ahead and enjoy the sea views or even a private beach club where you will have loungers and umbrellas for comfort.

This is a lovely promenade which stretches out all along the coastline of Nice. The water itself is clear mostly, however there can be the odd piece of rubbish or two. It is definitely a place that everyone has to go to while in Nice....More

Perfect for walks, eating a cute cafes while taking in Nice & seeing the Negresco Hotel. There are many restaurants that offer private beach areas (with a chair and umbrella coz the beach is all pebbles) and I think it's worth spending money on that.

Most of the promenade is under some sort of construction. Hard to walk along the promenade while I was there.

Yes most buses go to the start off the promenade but the 52 or 75 will take you to the town so get off just as it turns off the promenade and you can walk to the end
