We walk this street many times, only to discover new points of interest, like eating and shopping places. The trams run every few minutes, or just put on some walking shoes and enjoy a nice stroll.

A good place to return to should you get lost. Lovely gardens enroute to the seafront. Well maintained and timely trams pass through this square making Nice very accessible at all times. Trams are reasonably priced and you can stop more than once en route...More

There are so many fantastic squares in Europe. This one was ok but not spectacular. It is very wide open and there are plenty of spaces to shop and walk around. We stayed here for about 30 minutes and continued on.

This square looks just as good at night as it doe during the day. We watched some street performers in the evening who really give the place some character.

There is usually a 'Casino' nearby in Nice - small grocery stores dotted around. Otherwise, near the front, there are kiosks or small tourist shops that generally have those things available. Enjoy!
