We walked a long way from the old town to try and find this Church however it was well worth it. It is a spectacular building. We took several photos before entering but were told not to take any of the interior. The interior was indescribably beautiful with gold and blue being the dominant colours. A must see if you... This is a must see in Nice. Easy to find using Google maps. You come upon it tucked away and the building is stunning. Very interesting guided tour for 10 euros which lasted about 40 minutes in French. Well worth a visit with many treasures inside. Lots of interesting history about the Romanovs.

This church is stunning.. inside writing in old Russian icons that include on one of them royal Romanov family. Of course it is a church and conventions must be followed, at the entrance on the left there are head scarves as women should cover their head. The Virgin Mary icons are exquisite

For a person who has never visites east asia, it was interesting to view a russian church. We were lucky to get there when some people were praying, we got a glimpse for that too.

I visited this church as part of the tour of a hop-on hop-off bus, otherwise it is a long walk in hot weather from the city centre. The church is rich in history and a magnificent example of Russian church art.

Our hotel staff said this was the second best example of a Russian Orthodox church, second only to Moscow. You can enter the church. It's about a 20 minute walk from the Grand Florence Hotel.

Decided to pop here after reading reviews on this site. Glad we did, although a bit out of the way and tricky to get there if no car. However, we were pleased we made the effort. It is quite stunning to view from the outside. Inside, the icons were superb and numerous. Definitely worth a visit.
