We did the half day tour cannes with Justin. He is a very good informative guide. The only problem was he kept saying at every stop not to be late back or he would leave without us. It made us very nervous while looking around.

Hi, PreetikaVerma, I'm hoping that this message reaches you before you leave Nice, as your question states you're only staying for one day. With such limited time in Nice, and with a desire to see and make the most of the area before heading elsewhere, then yes, I would recommend a tour. Tours allow you to get a taste for an area, and they also allow you to decide if one day you'd like to return and see the area in more detail. The only downside to tours is the limited time you have in each place on the itinerary. If your tour consists of, for example, 6 places to visit in a 9 hour tour, then clearly you will not be able to spend hours in each place - you have to factor in the time to get (be driven) from one location to the next. Having said that, the upside to tours is that you'll see the area under the care of a driver-guide who can explain the history, customs and culture of each place you visit - this is often something you'll lack if you visit by public transport. Of course, I say this as a driver-guide, so naturally I'd encourage you to take a tour. They're fun, especially if your driver-guide is good natured, good humoured and caring of his/her clients. As for the price of tours, each tour is of course priced differently, depending on various different factors - such as number of hours, distance travelled during the tour, etc. etc. Because of this, I cannot give you an exact answer to the price you'll pay. However, I would encourage you to check out our website, where you'll find all the tours our company does, as well as their duration and cost. Unfortunately, TripAdvisor questions and answers do not allow the sending of website links, however, you can find our website address listed on our TripAdvisor page. "Public Tours" are naturally the least expensive option, as you'll share the tour with others. However, many opt for "Private Tours" - it's nice having the luxury of a driver-guide just for yourselves! Do note that most companies, including Sunny Days, will not guarantee a public tour departure for one person. The company has to be economically viable, of course, and running a tour for one person will not cover costs. However, we're coming to the height of the tourist season, so you should find that for the most popular tours, there will be others on the tour as well as yourself. (The more popular tours are the first ones listed for both the Half-Day Tours and Full-Days Tours pages.) Have a look at the website, decide which tour (if any) is best for you, and send us a mail using the contact form attached to each page. Our office will reply as soon as possible, and can advise you further if you have other questions. Whichever you decide, I wish you a happy stay in the South of France! Justin-SunnyDays
