This is a beach to spend the day on if central Nice is your aim. Full service sun beds can be warm, so the first two sea-side rows are a must to ensure a breeze.

We decided on lunch at Blue Beach,a difficult choice in view of the number of beach restaurants on the Promenade, but weren't disappointed. The choice and quality of the food was excellent, and the staff were pleasant and friendly, and it wasn't too expensive considering we were sitting at a table 20 yards from the sea!

It may not be the prettiest one, since there's almost no sand, but stones, it still is prime spot for a sunbathing, swimming or watching sunset around Nice. It's very convenient location makes up for lack of sand.

As other reviewers have made clear " beach" is maybe not the right description, no sand, just pebbles, which I would imagine are pretty uncomfortable to sit on with just a towel. So I went to Blue Beach, sun loungers, parasol and decking and matting to get over the pebbles, Yes, you have to pay for this, 23 Euros a... More

Like many others, I also wasn't aware that Nice has a pebble beach. It's super uncomfortable to walk on or go in the water if you don't have footwear on. The water is absolutely clean and looks blue in color which happens as the pebbles reflect the suns rays giving the water a milky blue shade.. Good place to hang... More

Stones, stones and more stones, no sand at all. One must wear shoes even to negotiate the stones into the sea which is in itself very difficult because of the steep drop off from the beach to the water. If you want a beach holiday try Cannes

Visited the place. Was served well. Good food. There is an entry fee (expected as this is a private beach), you pay extra for towels etc. Pretty reasonable. The beach is a pebble beach and the sun can scorch your skin. So watch it. If you have time to kill you can chill out here. But there are sooo many... More
