Surprised by the variety of experiences of Chagall's work in this relatively small museum, we were both happy that we took the time to visit. You get an electronic "guide" so you can listen to explanations of each piece, even though I personally rather enjoyed...More

I knew very little about Chagall before my visit and was blown away by his paintings. I loved them The sculptures were less interesting for me. The museum has a café, a shop and a garden, and inside, they have air conditioning in the summer.

I couldn't wait to get to the museum and I want to see it again, because I am a great admirer of Marc Chagall's work and personality. Some reviews said it was disappointing, but if you don't like something it may certainly be the case....More

We read great reviews about this place so thought we'd give it a try but was very disappointing and too expensive for what it is. Very small and can be done in 15-30 mins. If you don't really like Chagall then this place definitely not...More

This beautiful museum is not your typical boring museum. The art work is well displayed in creative, engaging locations. Chagall's renditions of biblical stories are colorful and unique. If in Nice, don't miss this museum.

A short walk from our delightful Petit Palais hotel the first thing we did was to visit this Museum. Easy to find, my memory still holds the in depth artwork, especially the color blue. Large walls were perfect for displaying the large pieces. Easy to...More

No. The cafe at the Chagall museum is very pleasant. You can walk from one to the other but if you see my review of the Matisse museum you won't waste your time. Chagall is between 1 1/2 and 2 hours.
