Loved the view from the top. Do carry water if you are going on a hot day. It has a lovely waterfall on the top as well. Oh and if you are lazy to climb up the stairs there is a hidden free elevator just...More

A nice place to walk around, beautiful view, playgrounds for the kids, artificial waterfall to discover, small souvenir shops. Only in summer it gets very hot.

A must do in Nice. Wear comfortable shoes and enjoy the views and time outside. You can view Old Town Nice and Port of Nice.

To one side you have the Port and the other side the Promenade L'anglais - spectacular views and also a place to picnic at the top. We went via Nice Cycle tours and enjoyed the ride up but you can walk or get a lift.

Though it is a slight trek to the top, there is so many views along the way to stop and admire that the walk is not particularly noticeable. The 360° views from the top are spectacular. We visited around 11am and it was fairly busy,...More

We took the tram for $10 Euros each to avoid the long climb and it was a good choice. You can take grate pictures from the top. It is a little ways to get to the public restroom but at least there is one.

You have a choice of about 350 steps or the use of a lift. The lift an advantage. The views from the top of the harbour and the bay are absolutely stunning. There are refreshments up there as well as the W.C.

We climbed up the hill in the evening and stroll through the park, monuments and the Panasonic view points. Definitely worth the climb and the coastline views are exquisite! The climb is not too hard either.

If you are fit and able then I suggest a walk up the many steps to the very top for spectacular panoramic views of Nice and the surrounding area, all for free! Tip: take some bottled water with you and you can fill for free...More

Hello. I would like to know if it is possible to go with a pram / buggy with small kids. Once you're up with the lift are there many more stairs we would need to navigate? Thanks Maheem

Should be no problem, the park at the top was full of small kids when we were there on a Sunday afternoon. After the lift a choice of paths with just a small slopes.

I agree with all the above - walk up, take the lift (it doesn't go right to the top but near enough) or the tourist train - it's definitely worth it for the views in all directions. Not to be missed.
