You cannot miss the Flower Market! I loved it because it reflects the idea of the "traditional market" concept that I've always had in my mind. Beside flowers you'll also find spices, essential oils, seeds and soap: so pitoresque! Obviously flowers are colourful, but they simply complete the atmosphere, they are natuarally meant to be there: the sea is just... More

Everyone knows about the Marche aux Fleurs, but buried in this wonderful venue for locally made produce is the best glacé fruit value in Nice. You can buy fancy little packages of this very French delicacy at many stores around the city, but the price can run Euro 50.00 per Kilo and more. And the variety is limited to fruits... More

Before going, I thought this was a pure flower market. And yes, flowers were the main thing, but there was also vegetables, local sweets and much more. I took the opportunity to do a little shopping to try out some of the sweets I had seen in confectionery shops, as buying and trying was much more tempting in the market.... More

Having already strolled around the market earlier in our trip we returned with the nice food and wine tour. On this occasion we sampled our way around the market and got to meet several local traders. (The tour is highly recommended by the way if you want to explore the area with a friendly and knowledgable guide. I've reviewed it... More

you should take a walk around this market while you are in nice, buy some soap or flowers. If you don't want to shop, you should just sit down in one of the restaurants, drink coffee and look around.

I started everyday of my trip in Nice here just to pick up the most delicious food and produce. Do yourself a favour and try something new that you haven't tried before! Everything is fresh and delicious

I wandered the streets of Nice, we took a walk on the Promenade des Anglais, we crossed the city, I saw the City of Nice and Place Massena and crossed the Cours Saleya is a splendid place. I ate dinner on a typical French on Cours Saleya. Prices are extremely good here. An exceptional dinner!

It is a great way to have a taste of living in Nice . Most vendors will let you taste the food before you purchase them-Sure beats going to the supermarkets.

A great place for the "taste" of old Nice. A wonderful flower, vegetable and produce market. The perimeter has a selection of reasonable restaurants. It can get incredibly busy and packed with tourists with a few tourist type stalls (don't but!) so best to visit off-season when visitors will see the "genuine" Nice market and stall-holders. Around the market site,... More

Not really a tourist attraction but a nice experience in a place where locals shop. Wonderful to appreciate the culture of the community. Great for people watching. Beautiful flowers.
