On the Place du Palais market, I met an committed and talented artist who will delight you with her works in fresh and subtle colors. She knows how to powerfully convey the spell of these enchanting places that are Nice and the French Riviera. It can be found on the Cours Saleya and at the Place du Palais de Justice Market, an essential market for art lovers

We had the opportunity to visit this palace on journee de patrimoine. This palace is not usually opened to the public except for special holidays. Great place for photographs interior with it's sumptuous decor and exterior as you can see the marche and the Mediterranean sea.

It is believed that this palace was built in the early 17th century and was the home of the Duke of Savoy until 1860.

I visited during the fete du patrimoine, no need to book and free, of course. If one happens to be in Nice it's a good opportunity to visit the palace which is normally closed to public.

I am currently staying in the south of france for 6 weeks so expect a lot of riviera reviews!
This building is really beautiful. Our friends had a civil partnership here last year which was special.
Lots of beautiful artefacts you have look at.
Lots of bars and restaurants in the local area. They are on the expensive side expect to pay 8euros for a large beer. They also put the prices up after 9pm (night rate)
Lovely to look at when its dusky and the sun is setting.

The palace is facing and near the flower market. It is a beautiful building. You cannot miss it when walking to Nice Cathedral.

A very grand government building. We had no business inside but we certainly admired the large scale architecture and the classic design. Set on an open square near the center of town.
