Peace and Calm

I love walking around this garden whenever I need to take some fresh air. It is also good for walks and jogging. Very family friendly and beautiful!

Lovely relaxing place to visit by bus from Nice station. Views across Nice are lovely, and the small gardens are well kept and delightful. There was a Franciscan exhibition in the monastery when we visited and a very helpful gentleman outside in a wheelchair. Buses are about every half hour....but don't miss the last bus as it is a long... More

Up on a hill, its a peaceful garden area with almost no one! I walked around the whole place and maybe encountered two groups of people. The church is lovely as well and empty. I traveled to Nice during off-season so I'm sure there are more people when it is warmer. I recommend ubering up the hill and then walking... More

We needed to find a quiet, serene place after some hectic days and found exactly that at Monastere de Cimiez and the associated Jardin. We recommend the 3 km walk uphill from city center to enjoy a quiet day away from the crowds. It does not have to take more than an hour and it is worth it. The monastery... More

The Monastery at this park in central Nice is very well maintained and offers some stunning views of the city out to the Mediterranean sea.

It's quite a hike to get here but worth the effort. The recorded music is lovely and very lifelike. My only disappointment was the museum being closed.

Walked the long Ave Malanseena boulevard and Bvd de Cimiez but worth it to view the Monastry though little info in English available. Gdns also enjoyable and neatly laid out with good views but unsure what we were looking at.. Bus 20 and 17 can get you there We returned by the 20

This can be found in the push end of town. It's worth the walk up the hill past the Regina mansions where Queen Victoria stayed. Beautiful park with Roman ruins and monestry.

We took a bus from Nice centre [ very easy ] a walk thrrough the park to arrive at these gardens. Beautiful flowers, shrubs and roses, all behind the Monastere de Cimez. The garden was being lovingly tended and watered but the views from this garden were breathtaking.
