This beautiful villa and gardens in Cap Ferrat on the Riviera was a sensational excursion off of our Viking Ocean cruise. We had an expert guide who took us around the mansion and gardens. The villa contains the priceless collection of art and furniture of...More

The Côte d’Azur is stunning all by itself, but this place pushes it over the top. Located in gorgeous Villefranche-sur-Mer with 360 degree views, it’s spectacular just for the land it’s on. Then you add in a Villa and incredible gardens, and WOW! I’ve visited...More

There is a botanic garden in Nice, but the real botanic garden is whole Rotschild area with flowers, trees and even some animals like butterflies. We visited Rotschild Villa & Jardins late october. It was still beautiful, touching and in good way high-spirited. Garden and...More

The Villa of Béatrice Ephrussi de Rothschild is beautifully located on the Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat peninsula and gives a rare glimpse into the lives and homes of the super-rich that generally guard their privacy jealously behind high fences on the French Riviera. The villa houses a rich...More

We had seen photos of the Villa & decided it was a must see. We took the Number 81 bus from/to Nice to the Villa, a bus stop is pretty much at the front gate of the Villa. For one and a half Euros each...More

This is an amazing jewel. Yet strangely curated. An habitué of the extremely high standards of the National Trust the amount of dust was eye opening. Yet not so shocking and DISTRESSING as the treatment of the wonderful woven and embroidered silks on display in...More

A fascinating insight to the Belle Epoque. A beautiful and unusual house and the most gorgeous gardens that need plenty of time to explore, as well as to take in the views over Cap Ferrat from different parts of them. We visited as part of...More

We took a small group tour to see the Villa and Gardens. It is 14 Euros to get in and they also have a gift shop. The property is beautiful and I can only imagine what it must have been like to live here. The...More

I took a couple of hours all in all, the house isn't big, the gardens are quite large but if you are visiting soon I doubt you want to stay outside for long as it is very, very hot at the moment.

Did not see any lockers. Ring the booking office which is situated at the entrance to the gardens.

I know nothing about night visits to the villa/. The walk from it to Beaulieu Sur Mer took us an hour. We walked 2km along the highway and 2km along the beach which was more pleasant.
