Fantastic location amongst the trees. I loved the sculptures around the exterior and grounds and the Chagall and Joan Miro pieces. Well worth a visit.

Established by a wealthy art dealer and wife who were friends to countless local famous painters and sculptors (Chagall, Matisse, Miro etc.) this is a charming, tranquil and interesting museum complex in a beautiful tranquil setting in the wooded hills close above St Paul. There...More

While the A R Peck exhibit is on, unless that is what you are drooling to see, DO NOT GO!! There are 4, yes 4, paintings from the permanent collection on view and, in my opinion, they are not the best. All the other space,...More

If you are interested in the relationship between the gallery and the art it presents, don't miss this. I nearly didn't go as some reviews were not great. It is a wonderful gallery and garden where art is enhanced by the surroundings. To see the...More

Quirky and varied collection of works by world class artists - Chagall, Giacometti etc. Interesting building in a pleasant garden, with sculpture works exhibited outside. Nice cafe.

A gem of a place, with some unique pieces, well located, ample parking and very nice gardens. Staff could be a bit friendlier.

My wife and I are into art museums and this is a wow even if modern art isn't your thing. The background story is compelling! The buldings, grounds, and layout of the art is terrific. It is a strenous walk from the village.
