There's not much to say. It's a pretty open chapel with some interesting art and sculpture. Interesting and free to see with the Cote d'Azur card. Only takes a few minutes to glance at. Not something I'd consider a must-see in St-Paul-de-Vence.

La Chapelle des Penitents Blancs is a very beautiful place to visit. The themes represented in the paintings and the incredible mosaic are graceful. The chapelle is currently closed for the month but if you take the tourist office's guided tour, you are able to...More

This is one of the most beautiful spaces I have ever seen. Designed by Folon for the White Penitents (an order of priests). It is a light-filled space with the most stunning Ravenna mosaic. There are eight lovely oil murals, three stained glass windows, and...More

Go, it's worth 4 euros (and you get into the local museum), the artwork, meaning is simply stunning and very worthwhile spending a 20 to 30 minutes inside

Don't be deceived by the exterior of La Chapelle des Penitents Blancs. A wonderful surprise awaits you. Jean-Michel Folon's decoration-composed of a Ravenna-technique mosaic, four stained glass windows, two sculptures, and eight wall oil paintings-creates a brilliantly-colored, light-filled, spiritually-uplifting interior.

Lovely pictures and an amazing mosaic in this small chapel. On entering you have a great impression of light. The same ticket gets you entry to the museum which holds a series of historical tableaux.

In the midst of a medieval town one comes across a beautiful modern chapel. We were lucky enough to have the place to ourselves for a quarter-hour. There's a sense of peace and calm that one can just breath in. Well worth the entrance fee.

This was a chapel by Folon housed in a medieval chapel. It was beautiful and tranquil and a delight to discover.
