Made a stop while traveling thru the area. Enjoyed walking about the medieval village and looking into the shops and down the narrow side passages. Chateau Villeneuve was mildly interesting. Off the main square there are a number of small places for lunch the one we choose was rather good.

We stopped by the village to walk around have a cafe. It was a wonderful town, full of artwork that would appeal to anyone. The shops all had something unique to offer, from beautiful wooden bowls, to a jewelry store where everything was handmade by the artist in leather or silver. There were many art galleries with sculptures and paintings.... More

A lovely medieval, cobblestone lined village. Smaller than St. Paul de Vence, easier to get around. We were Fortunate to be able to spend 2 weeks here...driving to the lavender fields around Valensole, and to Antibes to The sandy beach and parasailing and paddle boarding. A good central base. We had a 180 degree view towards The Med. Fabulous!

This is a small French Village where people still live and commute to the neighboring cities. There are beautiful shops on top of the mountains, winding cobblestone paths, beautiful shops, scenic views, and outside restaurants. Gourdon to Tourrettes is a short mountain drive with breathtaking views. Look for a small restaurant by the waterfalls and stop to see the amazing view.

Very clean , No litter unlike UK,green leafy and flowery. Quaint streets , mostly cobbled and quaint shops. Most speak some english!! Pace of life is happily slow. The square is very beautiful.

So much to see. First you drive into a small square where there is lots of parking. Then wander over to Information to get your map, then do the loop. Most of the artist and artisan shops are on Grand Rue which starts and ends on the Square. My heading is 'made by hand' because the purses, jewelry, wooden bowls,... More

I have already written a review on this medieval village, a must visit , lovely artisan shops, artisan ice cream, you are in the area of violetes. Lovely people and the terrace is the most spectacular. Only the parking is the problem.

Above the interesting township of Vence, resides Tourrettes -Sur- loup,a genuine mediaval hilltop town.Catch the "400"bus from Canes -sur-mer to Vence then transfer to the "500" for the scenic tour up to the village. There are turrents and many buildings seem suspended mid air. Its an exciting walk that circles the hilltop, into town. A tree lined square opens up to artisan shops... More

A trip to France doesn't have many regrets, but the fact that we chose to visit this small town on a rainy, Monday was one for us because many of the attractions and stores were closed. I would recommend making this a choice rather than St. Paul. This was a recommendation of our Vence B&B owner and she was right.... More

I went on this tour with my wife during our recent holiday to the South of France and I would thoroughly recommend it. It was very well put together, informative, fun and a great way to learn about the region.
